Ingredients
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon bourbon (optional)
- 1 10 oz package shortbread cookies, coarsely crushed
- 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan heat and stir first three ingredients (bourbon optional) over medium heat until milk is warm and sugar is dissolved. Stir in cookies; let stand 15 minutes.
- Transfer mixture to a food processor or blender. Add vanilla bean paste. Cover and process or blend until smooth, stopping to scrape container as needed. Store in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

- Scoop onto hot waffles, cobblers, or sautéed apple slices.
- Also layer between graham crackers when making s'mores.
