ABOUT LISA BADER

Lisa Bader’s superpower is knowing how to make people feel really special on their birthday—and other days as well! Whether it’s finding the perfect gift or throwing a fabulous party, Lisa has an uncanny ability to connect with a wide range of people and quickly understand what matters most to them.

Recognizing the mismatch between an overwhelming number of options online and how very little time people have to distill them, Lisa set out to create a streamlined solution that made it easier for busy people to celebrate birthdays—whether at home or on the road.  In 2017, she launched Birthday Butler, an online company that offers stylish all-inclusive parties in a box, as well as celebration centerpieces.

Birthdays and holidays have always been Lisa’s most favorite days. Raised in NJ by a single mom who worked as a waitress in a diner, Lisa never forgot how a kind gesture could transform someone’s day. She describes the delight of Christmas morning in the opening chapter of her best-selling book, Wrap with Love:  Holiday Gift Giving with Less Stress and More Joy.  Her ‘Ready-Select-Wrap’ gifting system has helped tens of thousands of people conquer holiday shopping in record time and enjoy the holiday season.

Lisa’s creativity, problem solving and systems thinking were honed by 20+ years of experience in operations, branding and marketing at Procter and Gamble and Intel. Eventually rising to the executive ranks at Intel, she was responsible for developing global integrated marketing campaigns. She has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. (Lisa always roots for Duke basketball.)

Lisa lives in Northern California with her two children.  She’s on the Board of Directors of Capital Public Radio and an active mentor in How Women Lead.  Lisa loves to bake, which requires her to exercise and practice vinyasa yoga often.  Her ideal birthday cake has coconut in it and lots and lots of frosting.
